I am so happy with this washing machine. I love all the cycles with the times which is really helpful. Its quiet it has a dispenser for both fabric softener and liquid detergent. Also it does not bounce across the room while in the spin cycle especially with bulky items. There are numerous options so you can wash items the way you like to and not the way the manufacturer wants you to When my dryer finally gives out I plan on buying an LG dryer Thanks for a great product

Lack of Agitator and Lack of effective Soak Cycle

Have have this washer a couple of years. Im very disappointed that there is no agitator to get really dirty clothes clean. I like that theres more room inside but would rather be able to get all loads clean. I called LG support to see if I could buy an agitator as an accessory. The answer was no. So I am left using the Heavy 2 hour cycle and hope that clothes will come clean. My other complaint is that You cannot soak over night or even a few hours. The soak cycle is only for 30 minutes then it automatically goes into the wash cycle.

No lint trap/filter so clothes come out dirty

This washer does not have a lint trap/filter and as a result clothes come out covered in lint which has often turned in a goopy clumps and is near impossible to remove. Lint/dirt/loose particles also litter the drum after a wash so you have to wipe or vacuum it out before using again. Im very disappointed - it never occurred to me to check if this model had a lint trap/filter before purchasing because that seems like checking if the car comes with brakes. Needless to say I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

We purchased our washer in late 2020. It seemed to be fine but then we noticed pulls in our fine linens and my wifes delicates. I called LG and a rep came to visit to see if he could find the problem. The problem is a few of the metal pieces were sticking out and pulling the clothes. he ordered a new tub which came damaged and is sitting in our garage. He ordered another one and this one wasnt even wrapped correctly. The tub had two big dents in it to the point where thee UPS guy would not leave it. So we wait. We are supposed to get another tub b y Thursday which is the day the rep is supposed to come here. WE ARE NOT HAPPY

It has some good points. I really like the bleach dispenser because it doesnt make white spots on the laundry. I like that it weighs the load so not wasting water for small loads. But I was glad I opted for buying 3 more years of warranty. After 3 years one more year of warranty both of the computer boards died. The plumber TEC is waiting for the order to come. Been without washer 2 weeks so far..

You literally have to stand there to make sure enough water fills to clean your clothes and not ruin them. I now have only been using deep wash with deep fill opion. Sad thing is wont use hot water with setting. Find another washer. Seems temperamental and is only using cold water lately.

Weve had this for about a month after using a front loader for 20 yrs and have no complaints. I was cautious because so many shorter people talked about reach issues but I have no problem reaching the clothes at the bottom while on my toes Im 53. I especially like that theres no agitator rubbing my clothes. The amount of water has been perfect havent had to use the extra water feature and clothes are clean.

i was very excited to begin to use my new washer. First I was disappointed to discover that I had to go on line to read the instruction manual. When I tried to access the manual I hit a dead end. So I gave up on that. I have also found that the machine which does a pretty good job of cleaning clothes takes so long to do a load. Sometimes I feel that I could go down to the river and beat the clothing on rocks faster Secondly there are simple things I would like to do with the machine....like spin out a load of wet clothes that I have had soaking somewhere else. It takes so long to just spin out Maybe I am just too old for new fangled machines. I certainly would like something easier to use---and with accessible instructions

I was skeptical about this washer as I always prefer center agitators. I have had washers before without the agitator and the clothes were a tangled mess and not enough water was used. This washer is amazing - clothes do not tangle they are washed and rinsed perfectly and the washer is very quiet. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you need a new washer.

Does not even get all the clothes wet

I have had this impeller LG wash machine for 1-1/2 years now. I hate it. It uses less water which is good but there are areas were the close are still dry when I take them out. Others have mentioned this too. I feel the impeller could work faster longer. I got the impeller because I thought the impeller would be more gentle than the agitator but it barely moves. I have to stop it and have swish the clothes myself. I have the side load at our other home and it works much better by going around. Not happy. Would never buy again

We bought this machine on the advice of reviews we read and the salesman recommendation. I have to say the negative reviews were not accurate. They were saying it did not ring out the water water did not cover the clothes and other complaints. We found none of those issues. It functions as expected.

Excellent investment from a mom of too many

Ive had this machine for going on three years now. Its been pretty stellar I have a large family and this gets USED HARD. Ive had one incident wear the motor burnt up because a teenager did their laundry and didnt empty their change pocket. Pennies and dimes are this washing machines kryptonite. However it was completely under warranty and was fixed quickly. So be wary This is not to launder monies lol I made a funny. I have thoroughly cleaned it several times pretty easily as I do want to protect my investment. All around GREAT purchase.

Get out of balance easily

Washer seems to get out of balance easily no matter what the load is no matter how its loaded. Especially worse when there are towels and sheets in it. Ive tried loading it according to the recommended directions and it doesnt seem to help.

not too thrilled

10 months owning this washer and Im still baffled even though I had an impeller type washer before this one. Ruining some of our clothing because water level so so low-then another load might have water all the way up to top. I totally understand how this works with the weight of the load determining the water level but this washer is nuts In the beginning Customer Service Rep couldnt even explain why certain cycles were acting the way they were. Then a month ago I had a LG service tech check why theres a squeaking noise when spin first starts and when it slows down from a spin. He never figured it out. He said he would write up a report and LG would get back to me. NOTHING Stopped right there Another month and a half and my Warranty will expire-Spending big bucks on this washer and Im not happy.

Top Loading Washer

I called to have my washer repaired and got a very quick response. The technician told me he would order the part and would let me know in a few days. He called back and was 10 minutes from the house. He came and installed the part and explained a few things and was gone. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He was awesome.

We bought this washing machine thinking it was a good deal and overall a good product boy we were wrong. First of all the product warranty is a joke. Most of it is not covered under it. Since the day we bought it there was a constant swamp smell to it. We have used white vinegar special cleaning product for it as well as mentally drained the water after every load and yet they still does not help. Am I opinion there pump thats supposed to take the water away doesnt work very well. I highly dont recommend purchasing this.

Great features/easy to use

I have gone through many washer machines due to them being poorly built. This machine has been fantastic. It has many options for wash cycles but is easy to use and gets the job done. I love that it came with a troubleshooting guide but also connects to the app to tell. you if any repairs are necessary. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Good top load washer

Bought this 2 years ago and its been good. Unfortunately it stopped working last month but thankfully I had the extended Home Depot warranty. Im disappointed it broke after only 2 years but the technician fixed it had to replace the motherboard.

At first we loved this top load washer. nice and roomy. gets clothes clean but lately its been tearing clothes. It has ripped into at least 5 shirts Worst us their customer service. I filed a report and nothing was done Still waiting on a callback for supposed service call.

Doesnt wash clothes.

Its been balanced and reject and verify to be balanced. Its still shakes the room. Hair remains on clothes after full wash cycle and it doesnt really work at all. The warranty was a joke. Started working badly 3 days after warranty expiration one year.

This was the worst washer I have ever had.

I bought the washer 9/2021. Had problems from the beginning. Lowes wouldnt do anything. I couldnt find a repair man in my area. Its be a headache from the beginning. I finally got someone that I knew to look at it and he fixed it. Well a few months ago it started to make a loud noise. I just quit using it. The warranty has run out. I used to have a lot of faith in LG but I will never buy another LG Product.
