We bought this because it was powerful but narrow to fit a small window in a large room. It is heavy at 80 lbs! But has done a fantastic job cooling a large cathedral ceiling room and even significantly cools adjacent rooms. Also we had no idea how much we would enjoy being able to control it with our phones LOL.

This beast cools our main area (kitchen, dining and livingroom) so well that we shut off the vents so that the inadequate central unit only has to cool off the bedrooms. And most days we have just been turning off the central until the evening a few hours before bed. Our electric usage has dropped by over 25%! (And we are in 100 degree Florida heat!)

The unit definitely cools the room but there™™s room for improvement. I wish it was more quieter when turning on and off while running on Eco. Another big issue is that I bought 3 units expecting to turn them on remotely before I start my drive home but most times the app shows the units are offline. I know it™™s not my WiFi because I can still run my other WiFi enabled devices remotely.

If I could rate the Frigidaire AC unit a 100 I definitely would. Unexpectedly my AC unit went completely out. I had to order a part for it which was going to take two up to weeks to arrive. If you™™re in Georgia you know that is entirely to long to go without air conditioning. So I decided to purchase a Frigidaire window unit. I absolutely loved it. This unit kept my entire room and most of house cold. One of the best features about the unit is that I could control it from my phone. I was surprised to see a window unit operating like an actual in home unit. I was able to adjust the temperature from by phone and once the house reached a certain degrees the window unit would come on. I absolutely loved it. If your thinking about purchasing a window unit, Frigidaire is the best way to go.

This is the absolute best air conditioner. The air conditioner in my rental went out and we were experiencing 98 degree weather. I brought this Frigidaire air conditioner to as a temporary fix. This AC unit keeps the ambient temperature of my 105 year old house at a comfortable level. The wifi capabilites allow my family to control it remotely and is critical to our peace of mind leaving our precious cat home alone during the day.
